Jordan James Barry joins the next HR Lunchtime Debate

Jordan James Barry, chief people officer at Motor Insurers' Bureau, will join HR magazine's next Lunchtime Debate on unlocking hidden opportunities and potential in the workforce.

Barry has been chief people officer at the Motor Insurers' Bureau since 2018 following roles at Money Mart Financial Services, Tesco Bank and the Bank of Ireland.

He prides himself on his vision and authenticity in delivering HR as it should be and has a track record of supporting boards and CEOs in developing executive committees under a common purpose with the skills to transform the culture and performance of their organisations.

Barry is an executive committee member with experience of shaping organisational culture, and a qualified executive coach with experience working across corporate, start-up, high-net worth and celebrity markets.

The webinar, run in partnership with SHL, will look at how HR and managers can help employees to rediscover their potential and reinvigorate their careers, while also uncovering opportunities to support the organisation’s vision for the future.

By helping languishing employees find their strengths, HR can bring fresh skills to areas of an organisation not considered before.

With a new understanding in their own capabilities, talent will thrive and business will gain as a result.

Barry will be joined by Ruth Cornish, co-founder and director or HRi and Amelore, Teri Ellison, chief HR officer at SHL and HR magazine deputy editor Beau Jackson.

The HR Lunchtime Debate will take place on 13 September at 12:30m.
