HR Lunchtime Debate adds new panellist

Angela O’Connor, founder and CEO of The HR Lounge, will join HR magazine's latest Lunchtime Debate on how to promote a sense of belonging in the workplace.

With HR experience spanning over 30 years, O’Connor’s roles include chief people officer at the National Policing Improvement Agency and HR director roles at the Crown Prosecution Service and three London local authorities.

O’Connor’s sector knowledge spans across the whole HR spectrum particularly in complex, difficult and confidential areas.

Her passion lies in making HR simple and stress-free for clients and helping to create flourishing work environments where people succeed. She is also an ILM qualified executive coach, mediator and NLP practitioner.

She will be joined by Shubhang Davé, head of people science, EMEA at Glint.

The webinar will explore how diversity in the workforce cannot be effective unless organisations are willing to create a sense of belonging for employees so that they feel engaged and motivated.

Hosted by HR magazine editor, Jo Gallacher, the webinar will look at how organisations can measure ‘belonging’ in the context of employee engagement.

It will also discuss simple steps to boost retention rates and developing HR’s diversity and inclusion strategy beyond recruitment.

The HR Lunchtime Debate will take place on 21 April at 12:30pm.
