Working with SumTotal, the company reports learning activities have increased significantly now employees can get the training they need and pursue career goals with the company’s help.
Citrix wanted to promote the ability to work in remote places and therefore needed to provide learning resources as an on-demand service. The company faced the challenge of having to aggregate many different training and development resources for their widely distributed workforce.
SumTotal and Citrix worked together to develop a landing page with social networking and community features to further simplify access to learning resources and encourage employee engagement. Video highlights, quick links to courses, podcasts and webinars are all available on the landing page with a single sign-on from the Citrix home page.
Marla Noble, director of learning and performance solutions at Citrix, said: "Almost immediately, nearly 20 different business groups wanted to place their content in our system or link to it. We can now be very creative about populating the system with content and resources from partners that we identified and endorsed.
