HRMI 2022: Corina Forman, HR director, APC Overnight

As HR director at logistics firm The APC, Forman works closely with the leadership team to drive forward a people focused approach and instil HR practices.

She has over 30 years' experience in HR and is committed to creating a work culture that differentiates The APC to attract and nurture talent in a fast growing and rapidly evolving industry.

Forman began her career in HR in the retail sector, taking on roles which combined operational management responsibilities and HR. This gave her experience of working in a fast-moving sector and shaped her ideas on strong and effective people management working alongside the demands of good customer service.

In 2013, Forman joined Gordon Dadds Consulting as HR director. This hybrid role involved a lot of merger and acquisition work, which developed Forman’s interest in the importance of culture and talent management as a key factor within the legal context.

In the last year Forman completed a degree in organisational and business psychology, which has shaped a keen interest in the tools and techniques that HR teams can use to optimise workplace cultures, build workforce resilience, reduce stress, and improve organisational agility in times of continuous change.
