Forman began her career in HR management within the retail sector, taking on roles which combined operational management responsibilities and human resources. This gave her experience of working in a fast-moving sector and shaped her ideas on strong and effective people management working alongside the demands of good customer service.
In 2013, Forman joined Gordon Dadds Consulting LLP as HR Director. This hybrid role — providing HR Director leadership to an expanding law firm and developing an HR consulting function for external clients — involved a lot of merger and acquisition work, which really developed Forman’s interest in the importance of culture and talent management as a key factor within the legal context.
More recently, Forman has completed an MSc in Organisational and Business Psychology and takes great interest in being able to apply research best practice and innovation to the business environment.
