Sarah Jackson, chief executive of Working Families, said that flexibility is not just good for families; it is also good for business. “Our awards recognise those employers who’ve made their flexible and work/life policies part and parcel of the way they run their organisations,” she said. “Congratulations to all the 2016 winners; it’s this kind of action that will deliver the culture change we need for high performance in every UK workplace.”
Julian Foster, managing director at Computershare and lead sponsor of the Top Employers for Working Families awards and benchmarking system, said that the award winners should take great pride in their success. “There were many examples of excellent practice in every category and the awards have provided a great opportunity for us to share ideas and recognise organisational success,” he said. “I’m really proud that Computershare can help make these awards happen and be associated with such sterling family-friendly work.”
