The Workplace Giving scheme allows all 385 staff to donate tax efficiently through their salaries to a charity of their choice. The tax break allows donations to be increased by as much as 40%.
The organisation, which sponsors HR magazine's Leaders Club, added the option to its flexible benefits scheme earlier this year and so far 7% of staff have signed up, with the average contribution being £10.30 per month, compared with a national average of £6.58, according to the Association of Payroll Giving Organisations.
Mike Roberts, UK managing director of Buck Consultants, said: "We wanted to enhance our employee benefits package in 2009 so chose to introduce workplace giving as an option. Since the launch we have raised several thousand pounds for good causes."
