Red Letter Days to reduce its events' carbon footprints and invest in green projects

Red Letter Days plans to offset the carbon emissions from its experience days from 1 April.

The organisation, which organises experience days for groups of employees as motivational or team-building activities, calculated the carbon footprint of hundreds of events.

It is now working with Climate Care to re-use and recycle and invest in CO2-reducing projects around the world.

Theo Paphitis and Peter Jones, joint owners of Red Letter Days, said: "We recognise we must take a lead in environmental responsibility. This is why we have decided to be the first experience company to fully offset our own emissions. But, more importantly, we will offset all our customer experiences too, at no extra cost to them."
