Slape joins from the law firm White & Case, where she was HR director for the EMEA region. She has previously worked at Linklaters for nine years as global head of learning and development.
Her main areas of focus in the new role will include people strategy, talent management, reward and employer brand as well as global integration across the firm’s offices.
Slape said she was "thrilled" at the appointment. "Eversheds is a firm which over the last few years has been at the forefront in tackling important industry issues such as diversity, social mobility and corporate responsibility," she said.
"I look forward to working collaboratively with teams across the globe in devising and promoting best practice in HR."
