The Top Employers for Working Families A-Z List and Awards in partnership with HR magazine celebrate the UK's most family-friendly organisations.
Successful employers recognise the important place family-friendly practice has in creating the balanced working cultures that result in an engaged, productive and committed workforce. Today, it is not only working mothers, it is also fathers and, increasingly, carers with adult dependants who need to balance work and care.
Top Employers for Working Families is the UK's definitive guide to who is leading the agenda. The A-Z List and Awards will provide a benchmarking report to each entrant and an A-Z list of the top employers. There will also be special award winners, case studies and new ideas from those employers who are providing the most family-friendly and supportive workplaces for parents and carers.
The 2010 A-Z List and Awards have been developed by Working Families and The Institute for Employment Studies, together with additional input from leading UK employers.
The first step is to submit your basic details here
You will then be given a unique URL to the Top Employers for Working Families detailed survey. You can share your unique URL internally so that team members can help to complete the survey. Organisations can enter to gain a place on the A-Z list of Top Employers for Working Families. They can also enter for one or more of this year's 15 special awards.
The organisations judged to be the Top Employers for Working Families will be published as an A-Z list together with the related case studies. Every organisation that enters will be given an aggregated benchmarking report showing combined results of all entrants.
In addition to the A-Z list, there are also 15 special awards that will recognise excellence in each category. Organisations can enter multiple award categories. Read details of the 15 award categories here
