Top Employers for Working Families A-Z list and awards

There are three good reasons for entering the Top Employers for Working Families Awards.

Be recognised for specific family-friendly policies

Companies that have good working practices in specific areas of family-friendly policy will be recognised. There are 15 different categories to enter, including flexible working recruitment policy, paternity and maternity. All companies have strengths in different areas and this is a chance to be recognised for your company's particular strengths.  For a full list please see: www.topemployersforworkingfamilies.org.uk/register/categories.html

Be recognised as an employer of choice

These are awards with a difference. All companies that enter will be eligible to be included in the A-Z list (ranked alphabetically, not by score) and this list is extremely valuable to help clients differentiate themselves from their competitors. Being on the list is an excellent way to help recruitment and retention of the best talent: now, more than ever, forward-thinking organisations need a differentiator to be an employer of choice - and those that are aligned with best practice for working mothers, fathers and carers are able to illustrate to new and existing talent that they are good employers.  95% of companies already offer some form of flexible working, and those that promote their philosophy will be the employers of choice.

Free benchmarking report

All companies which enter will receive a free benchmarking report. No company names will be publicised, but you will be able to see how you fare against other company's family-friendly policies. This is an invaluable tool to see what other companies are doing, and to help you review your own policies.

Leon Foster-Hill, diversity manager, B&Q said: "Winning this award certainly raised our profile and has aided our ability to continue to recruit the best people to our business..."
