HRMI 2022: Navid Nazemian, global head of HR, Vodafone

Navid Nazemian ‘s career spans over 26 years. He spent the first six years working in sales before moving to HR - a function that he is deeply passionate about.

As an accomplished HR leader, he has lived and successfully worked in five countries across six sectors. His background spans over two decades of HR experience in some of the world’s most admired organisations at country, regional and global leadership level, in both emerging and developed markets.

In his current role, Navid has been successfully business partnering with Vodafone’s Group CFO and the finance leadership team. Some of his notable achievements are a tripling of the female leadership share (director level) -from 13% to 39% in group finance- over the past five years with zero regrettable losses, as well as taking cost out of finance permanently by simplifying organisation layers and enhancing overall organisational agility.

Navid is also an accredited executive coach and helps executives and their leadership teams accelerate, develop and successfully transition into new roles. He is the author of Mastering Executive Transitions - The Definitive Guide, a number one new release and international bestseller on Amazon. Navid is a globally recognised coach and thought leader in executive transitions.
