Cloke joined Ladbrokes in October 2016 as group HR director, a role he continues in at the merged company it became; Ladbrokes Coral.
Previously he was the HR, property and internal communications director of Vodafone UK. With a wide and varied remit, he focused on creating innovative working environments and practices for the 12,000 people based across the company’s offices, contact centres and retail stores. Cloke joined the company in January 2011 and was responsible for leading the people aspects of the integration of Cable and Wireless Worldwide following its purchase by Vodafone in July 2012.
Prior to joining Vodafone Cloke held HR director positions at News International, and similar positions for Telewest and MyTravel. Previously he spent 10 years at Allied Domecq, working in a variety of customer services and UK and international HR roles.
Cloke served as a non-executive of Roffey Park Management Institute for more than 10 years and enjoys hill walking and running marathons in his spare time.
