Two US Domino's Pizza staff sacked for posting video of 'inappropriate' workplace behaviour on YouTube

Domino's Pizza has fired two American employees for behaving 'inappropriately' in the workplace and posting their antics on YouTube.

The male and female employees, aged 31 and 32, based in North Carolina, filmed themselves putting cheese up their noses and breaking wind over salami while preparing a pizza for delivery.

Although the staff members claimed their antics were a hoax and denied the pizza was subsequently delivered, Domino's made sure the video was removed from the internet and filed a criminal complaint and the duo have since been charged by police.

The company has also filed a civil law suit.

A UK spokeswoman told HR magazine: "The company cannot take a chance on something like this. We have spent 50 years building up this company and we have 125,000 hard-working staff around the world. This video has caused so much damage to our reputation that we are not in a ‘forgive and forget' mood."
