Small businesses gain access to AWD Chase de Vere Consulting online voluntary employee benefits service

AWD Chase de Vere Consulting has launched an online voluntary employee benefits service that enables employers to provide discounts to their staff on thousands of goods and services, both online and through high-street stores.

Savings Through Work is very low-cost to employers with no set-up charges, a negligible fee per employee and virtually no administration. It is targeted at companies of all sizes and is believed to be the first time that SME employers, with as few as 20 staff, will be able to access online voluntary benefits, which have previously been the domain of big business.

With Savings Through Work, employees will be able to receive discounts of up to 20% on goods and services. The offers are grouped into over 180 different categories, from discounted cars, high-end fashion to discounts on holidays, groceries, petrol and gadgets. For example, a typical household could save £100 a year on its annual food bill by using the 4% discount on Sainsbury's groceries.

AWD Chase de Vere offers ongoing support to employers using Savings Through Work and provides a launch communications package that includes posters, desk drops and regular ‘hot offer' communications.

Sean McSweeney, principal corporate consultant, AWD Chase de Vere, said: "At a time when many employers are finding it difficult to provide pay rises to their staff, giving discounts on goods and services through voluntary benefits is a great way to reward staff and encourage loyalty.

"Voluntary benefits used to be the preserve of big employers, with high set-up charges, ongoing fees and a heavy administrative burden. By launching Savings Through Work we've enabled employers of all sizes to offer voluntary benefits at a very low cost. We've eliminated set-up charges, only charge small fees per employee and there is virtually no administrative work involved in the service at all."
