Lloyds TSB gets festive to boost benefits

Lloyds TSB is launching an online advent calendar for December to encourage staff to take up voluntary benefits.

The calendar offers 64,000 staff the chance to enter a competition daily to win one of 25 prizes, including an iPod, mobile phone and plasma television, sponsored by retailers.

Tim Fevyer, head of pay policy and employee benefits at Lloyds TSB, said: "We ran a similar advent calendar campaign last year with staff offers and it was a great success, adding thousands of new registrations to the benefits scheme. It's really popular with our employees and gives everyone a chance to be reminded of the staff offers programme, learn more about the bank's recent achievements and get a chance to win a prize."

The calendar was developed by Asperity Employee Benefits, which used its buying power to gain the deals at no cost to the employer.
