Grant Thornton answers graduates' recruitment questions in online chatroom

Grant Thornton has added a feature to its graduate website that allows employees and students to put recruitment questions to the firm's graduate recruitment experts.

The first chat session will start tomorrow (Wednesday 4 March) when Grant Thornton's national graduate recruitment manager Maria Floud will take part in a lunchtime online chat session.

After that, at designated chat times, anyone will have the opportunity to talk to recruitment professionals to ask questions about the firm's placement schemes, graduate schemes, 12-month internships and school leaver programmes. And prospective recruits will have the chance to ask questions to employees who joined the firm through its graduate scheme, to get an idea what day-to-day life is like at Grant Thornton.

The firm's head of resourcing, Samantha Weston, said: "We understand it is an uncertain time on campus now and Live Chat gives students the opportunity to talk directly to our HR experts to find out the latest information about what is happening at the moment. This is a chance for prospective employees to lead the discussion and get the exact information they need from us.

"We do not usually visit campusses at this time of year so this is our way of getting the message out that we remain committed to graduate recruitment and can offer first class training and varied opportunities."
