Ceridian's acquisition of Intellinet consolidates a long partnership

Ceridian has announced the acquisition of Intellinet, a provider of workforce management solutions in the UK and Ireland.

Ceridian and Intellinet have been partnered since 2003 and this service will now be available for all organisations, large or small, across the UK.

It is hoped the acquisition will enable Ceridian to add value quickly to organisations as integrated workforce management drives further business efficiency through payroll accuracy, control and business intelligence. In some existing examples business performance improvements have reached levels as high as 8% of annualised company salary costs.

Additionally, through the use of smart scheduling and rostering, employers can improve staff productivity through deploying resources only when required, both boosting revenues and reducing costs.

Ceridian UK's managing director, Doug Sawers, said: "This acquisition will greatly benefit Ceridian's growing customer base, with an expanded solution that gives even greater added value. We have worked well with Intellinet's excellent team for a number of years and we are proud to have them join our business.

Intellinet's managing director, Alan Christopherson, added: "The deal will bring an expanded solution and enhanced opportunities for Intellinet's customers while continuing to provide excellent customer service.  We have had a long relationship with Ceridian, delivering effective workforce management systems and processes to many well-known businesses.

"Now, as part of Ceridian UK, we will be able to develop our proposition still further adding value to our customers across the UK and Europe."
