Wesley joins from SHL Group, a consultancy in the HR and talent management sector, where he was group HR director.
His early career was spent in a number of HR roles in blue chip companies, including Allied Domecq, Boots, Friends Provident and Fosters Brewing Group; after which, he gained experience in some smaller, complex and growing global businesses.
While procurement is a new industry for Wesley, he has over ten years' experience at HR director level contributing to the performance of a number of organisations presenting similar challenges.
As group HRD, Wesley will develop and implement an HR strategy to support Achilles' global business strategy and will be based at Achilles HQ in Oxfordshire.
