May Gurney appoints David Billingham as group HRD

David Billingham has joined May Gurney as group HR director

The support services company has appointed Billingham to the newly created executive management-level position, responsible for overseeing development of the group's people management, training and rewards programmes for 6,100 UK staff.

In this role, he will be responsible for developing and delivering a people strategy plan that equips the company's employees and leaders with the skills and capabilities required to expand and achieve May Gurney's vision to be the leading support services business in the UK in their sectors.

Billingham, formerly HRD at Serco, will report to CEO, Philip Fellowes-Prynne.
