Rob Jones, head of organisational effectiveness, Crossrail

Rob Jones leads Crossrail's teams accountable for organisational effectiveness, organisation and cultural change, talent, performance, leadership and learning, employee engagement and internal communication.

Rob Jones joined the Crossrail project in early 2012 to head the organisational effectiveness team accountable for performance, talent, learning and internal communication across the £15 billion programme delivering a new railway for London. Prior to that he headed the global learning and development team at Mothercare having completing various talent roles in retail and FMCG.

He is a trustee of a charity of Partner Africa – an organisation that facilitates producer access to global supply chains. Awards include CIPR Inside ‘Best Employee Engagement’, Investors in People ‘Best Public Sector’ and PPMA ‘Best Public Sector’, as well as finalist for both the CIPD’s and Melcrum's ‘Best Employee Engagement’ awards.

Although his first degree was in life sciences he has since completed the CIPD diploma and masters degree in organisational behaviour at Birkbeck.
