StepStone Solutions launches infographics portals to provide information on key talent trends

StepStone Solutions has launched a series of online infographics portals for HR professionals that blend research data with live social media feeds to highlight key talent trends.

The launch comes in response to a survey from StepStone, which found only a third of employees 33% believe their organisation’s performance management strategy works.

The first portal, The Performance Management Fact File, provides an interactive reference resource dedicated to performance management.

It combines authoritative data from industry analysts and HR consultants, including Bersin & Associates, Aberdeen Group and Towers Watson, with social media analysis showing how key topics are being discussed online. Built-in ‘Quick polls’ also survey readers’ views to give a real-time update on user opinions on a key subject.

Visitors to the infographics portal can also access a number of free online tools, including a Performance Management Assessment and a Business Case Builder. In addition, a free Insight Paper, The Business Impact of Performance Management: Understanding the Ripple Effect, is available for download via the site.

The site also analyses social media to show how performance management is discussed online. Live statistics show how frequently topics such as performance, productivity and engagement are mentioned on Twitter, and the site also provides a live feed of Tweets on these subjects. Finally, an internet ‘buzz’ widget enables users to enter their own search terms to see how widely they are discussed.

Matthew Parker, CEO of StepStone Solutions, said: "With the economic outlook still uncertain, performance management is an urgent priority for all organisations and a key concern for HR professionals. There is a huge body of research that shows how better talent management can improve bottom-line performance – we also know that many companies’ approaches fall short of the mark. Our new infographics-based portal not only highlights these issues in an easy to understand visual format, but also provides useful advice to organisations on how they should address them."
