Online HR doctor surgery launched, courtesy of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) today launched an online advice surgery staffed by an 'HR doctor' to help cure the most common day-to-day problems that companies face.

The HR doctor will be able to answer questions on a wide range of personnel issues such as how to write employment contracts or develop health and safety policy (Provided by FirstAssist).

Individuals can ask specific questions unique to their own situation and will receive a direct answer rather than just being directed to a website. There are no limits to the number of queries a company can make and all questions will be answered within one working day.

Colin Stanbridge, chief executive of the LCCI said: "Over the past year, as economic conditions have remained difficult, companies have been saying to us that they would like more direction, assistance and business support services.  Our Business Advice Surgery will help firms save time on admin so that they can devote more of their resources to making sales and winning new clients."

The Business Advice Surgery will be also staffed by a legal doctor, a marketing doctor, a telecoms doctor and a business information doctor.  Each will be on hand to lend their expert opinions to LCCI members free of charge.
