Majority of over-60s regret not being more ruthless and go-getting in their careers

Seven out of 10 people over 60 (71%) have 'significant' regrets about their time spent in employment with 27% claiming to have persevered in a job they were not suited to.

Four out of 10 people in this age group (41%) regret not being more ambitious at work - and almost one in five (19%) wish they had been more ruthless and stabbed colleagues in the back to get ahead, according to a survey commissioned by More Than Business,

Pensioners in Leeds were most regretful (78%) compared with those in Norwich who expressed the fewest regrets (59%).
