His last full-time HR role was as chief human resources officer at Thomson Reuters and member of its group executive committee. He joined the media giant after five years at the BBC where he was a member of the executive board and director of the BBC Pension Trust.
His influence in the HR field has continued since joining private equity firm Bain Capital in 2013. Here he has a human capital remit including organisation acceleration initiatives and ensuring all Bain’s companies have strong leadership. He also oversees the company’s senior advisor programme in Europe.
