Before joining Ashridge, Stephen Bungay worked for The Boston Consulting Group in its London and Munich offices.
He has published two books on military history, The Most Dangerous Enemy – A History of the Battle of Britain, and Alamein. His major business book, The Art of Action: How Leaders Close the Gaps Between Plans, Actions and Results, was published in 2010.
Bungay read modern languages at Oxford, where he received an MA with first-class honours. He subsequently studied for a doctorate in philosophy at Oxford and Germany’s University of Tübingen.
