HRMI 2021: Eleanor Tweddell, Founder, Another Door and Eleanor Tweddell Communications

Tweddell is the founder of Another Door, an organisation supporting people through redundancy, with the aim to make it a good thing. She is the author of Why Losing Your Job Could be the Best Thing That Ever Happened to You, a book she wrote after being made redundant from her corporate job in 2016. In 2020 Another Door supported over 1000 people to find new jobs, start a business, or reinvent themselves.

After 23 years of corporate communication roles at brands such as Costa Coffee, Virgin Atlantic, RAC, and Vodafone, she decided it was time to go on a different path and now runs her communications and change consultancy alongside Another Door. Her clients have included Ageas Insurance, Channel 4, Trinity Mirror, and Harvey Nichols.

Tweddell is also a juggler. As part of a military family, she juggles regularly moving house, her 6 year old daughter's demand for more Lego and her husband being away for most of the year. She keeps herself entertained with her writing, walking and podcasting.
