Women in private sector feel greater sense of loyalty to employers than men

Research has suggested that women are more likely to feel a sense of loyalty to their employers.

UK-based share registrar Equitini’s study of small, medium and large companies across 17 sectors show that 56% of women describe themselves as "very loyal to their employer" compared to 42% of men.

Those aged between 41 and 50 are least likely to feel loyalty to their employer, and those working in media, travel and leisure describe themselves as having the greatest sense of affiliation to their companies.

Equiniti’s CE, Wayne Story, said: "Not only are females most loyal but they also exhibit a three-fold boost to loyalty, compared to men, after participating in an ESP."
