Concierge services, personal trainers and private members clubs - sounds like a day in the life of an A-list celebrity. But it could soon be a day in the life of a male UK employee, if Urbanity has anything to do with it.

It is an image and lifestyle consultancy for men that offers bespokeservices, from lifestyle consultants and personal shoppers, to datecoaches and interior design advice. And it is about time employersstarted offering such benefits to their employees, says Lisa Bathurst,Urbanity's director.

"Urbanity's benefits are a little bit different," says Bathurst. "We canhelp employees reach their potential - men want to look their best, andif they feel good about themselves they will perform better atwork."

But what about women? Wouldn't they benefit from such a service? "Yes,but image consultants for women are already out there," she explains."Men get ignored, but they do need this advice and they should feel noshame in admitting it." The premium and personal service is very muchaimed at professionals, offering "the kind of luxuries success shouldafford these men".

The interview process may never be the same again, as talk of pensionsand annual leave turns turn to discussions on tailors and personalstylists.
