Specsavers' new website aims to keep HR and staff up-to-date on all matters eye-related

Specsavers Corporate Eyecare has launched a new website with the aim of making the purchase of eyecare easier for HR staff.

The site provides information about eyecare vouchers, safety glasses, optical care, requirements for drivers and additional employee benefits. Both employers and employees can explore the site, making it easy to find the right level of information regarding regulations, eyecare policies and general eye health.

The site includes a virtual  ‘try on' feature, allowing users to see how they look in over a thousand different pairs of spectacles. Users can upload a photograph, try on the glasses they like, adjust them to fit, change the colour or view their new look close up. If they do not want to upload their own photograph then they can use a sample face instead.

Jim  Lythgow, director of strategic alliances at Specsavers Corporate Eyecare, said: "We always aim to make the purchase of eyecare as simple but informative as possible. We believe that the new website is an extremely useful tool in helping us to keep HR managers as up to date as possible regarding offers, innovations, regulations and services."
