Not-for-profit Roots HR is launched to provide HR services to third-sector organisations

A new HR consultancy has been launched as the first specialist provider of HR services on a not-for-profit basis.

Roots HR, launched by Jan Golding, has registered as a community interest company and will provide HR services to charities and voluntary and community-sector organisations that are too small or underfunded to employ in-house HR professionals.

All surpluses Roots HR accrues will be re-invested in the business, providing training for leaders, managers and administrators in the voluntary sector - people who are responsible for HR but with no relevant qualifications,

Golding said: "We develop an understanding of the culture and values of each organisation we work with, offering a full range of HR services at both the strategic and operational level."
