This HR functionality, which is planned to go live in the summer, will be integrated into The Royal Parks' existing human capital management (HCM) system, enabling 130 staff to access the HCM system themselves. To date, the HCM system has only been accessible by the HR team.
The organisation is using COA Solutions' integrated self-service and workflow functionality to allow authorised managers and employees at the Royal Parks to ‘self serve' by accessing and updating HR information themselves such as holiday dates, sick leave and training details.
Paper-based HR procedures will also be replaced with automated processes. The workflow functionality enables reports to be sent electronically. It also streamlines annual leave requests and accurately records absence, enabling line managers to have greater control over their workforce.
Teresa Marsh, HR manager at The Royal Parks, said: "With COA Solutions' integrated workflow and self-service modules, we look forward to further streamlining our HR processes."
"With line managers having quick and easy access to staff information, this will aid decision-making and allow management to take a more strategic view of the workforce."
