The list of workplace disputes has been released by law firm Gateley.
According to the employment team at Gateley a number of clients are seeking advice on how to manage unauthorised absences.
Relationships in the workplace have also been cited as a cause for concern by HR managers. There have also been a number of queries as a result of the early Easter break this year, which is set to cause problems for workers whose holiday year runs from April 2013 to April 2014.
Michael Ball, employment partner at Gateley, said: "Employment law is set to be a minefield in 2013. Just as employers get used to complex changes regarding auto-enrolment and workplace pensions, a new wave of legislation will quickly be introduced.
"That means it's extremely important that people managers are clued-up on employment law, and the implications these changes will have for their workers.
"We know that legal developments can cause headaches for employers. As such, we wanted to provide a series of short, easy-to-digest videos that help companies to stay on top of the opportunities and challenges being thrown their way."
