The flex scheme, which has been in place since 2003, has been rebranded and the online platform redesigned. Staff have been given a PIN number to use on the benefits website, which means they can access their benefits from any computer with internet connection.
Staff were notified by email and a story about the scheme appeared in DWS's monthly newsletter. A guide on how to enrol for benefits was sent to employees' home addresses.
The firm offers 14 flexible benefits including life assurance, income protection and private medical cover paid for by the employer as well as salary-sacrifice benefits that include holiday trading, carbon-offsetting and holiday travel insurance.
Nicki Farrant, HR manager at DWS, said: "Take up for the new benefits is encouraging. Feedback so far is that employees are pleased with the new design and ease of use for the new website.
"It is essential DWS is competitive in the marketplace so we can attract and retain good calibre staff. We also want to be able to offer our staff a good mix of benefits and we are aware a standard benefits package does not always fit across different age ranges and grades of staff."
The rebrand has been completed in association with Vebnet.
