Following an employee survey of its 120 predominantly field-based UK staff, the firm implemented a reward package using cost reduction on benefits to enhance benefit levels. The firm is now investigating the possibility of rolling out flex internationally.
The launch of the new scheme was accompanied by online and offline communications and one-to-one meetings with representatives from the provider, Thomsons Online Benefits.
Staff will have online access to their benefits and pension, including online total reward statements.
Huw Davies, European HR director, said: "The launch of the scheme reaffirms our commitment to our people. We have improved employees' understanding of the value of their total reward on top of salary. Moreover, in the past, pension membership was at 60% and now almost everyone has joined the scheme. This shows the impressive success of our communications strategy.
"The online tool was key, given that our workforce is spread around the world. The feedback has been so positive from our UK-based employees that we are already looking at the feasibility of extending the offering to the remainder of our European business."

Management consultancy Celerant Consulting has launched a new flexible benefits scheme and pension increasing pension membership to almost 100%.
