Kwik Fit Insurance to recruit 84 new employees in one-day recruitment drive

Kwik Fit Insurance is holding a recruitment day at its offices in Lanarkshire in a bid to recruit 84 new employees by January.

The recruitment drive on 31 October will take the total number of employees at its headquarters to more than 1,000 and new recruits will fill a variety of roles at its call centre including outbound sales, internet sales and policy renewals. All positions available are full-time, permanent roles.

Brendan Devine, group managing director of Kwik Fit Financial Services, said: "We're looking at a number of opportunities for us to grow our business and we need to ensure we recruit good people who will help us to achieve this.

"This is a really exciting time for everyone at Kwik Fit Insurance as we aim to strengthen our position in the UK insurance market. We're growing our policy numbers year on year and we want to maintain that momentum by adding to the great team we already have."

Lanark and Hamilton East MP Jim Hood, whose constituency includes Uddingston, welcomed the news about the recruitment drive.

He said: "I am delighted at the good news that 84 new jobs are being created at Kwik Fit Insurance in Uddingston. This is welcome news for the local economy and my constituents."

During the day, prospective recruits will be given a tour of the centre and a discussion about the roles available as well as the salaries and benefits on offer.
