Krispy Kreme appoints Claire Giraldo as head of HR

Doughnut retailer, Krispy Kreme UK, has appointed Claire Giraldo as head of HR and training

With more than 11 years' experience and an MA in personnel and development, Giraldo has joined the company to support its ambitious growth strategy and the extension of the business into new territories.

Giraldo, who reports directly to joint managing director Rob Hunt and sits on the company's operating board, is responsible for maintaining a level of excellence across all aspects of the employee lifecycle and building on employee engagement.

Prior to joining Krispy Kreme UK, she worked for six years within the FMCG and consumer sector, with PepsiCo and Mars.

Before this, Giraldo held HR roles in sectors including automotive, pharmaceutical, financial services and HR consultancy. She said: "The business is at a very interesting stage and helping to facilitate the planned growth will be an exciting and rewarding challenge."
