Sims joins the company from information systems firm Bull, where she held the position of HR director since November 2012.
In 2011, while she was head of HR at software provider Access, Sims was given the Rising Star award at the 2011 HR Excellence Awards.
Sims joined the company in 2007 and two months later was appointed customer and staff relationship manager. Within four years she had risen to the position of HR director.
Sims will head up a team of four in the UK and will sit on the executive team, reporting directly to Jeyes CEO Mark Tyldesley.
