The company beat off stiff competition to take home the HR Excellence Gold Award.
The HR Excellence Gold Award is awarded to the organisation that is judged to be the 'best of the best' across all categories.
KFC was shortlisted in five categories, winning for its employee engagement and being highly commended in the HR Team of the Year, Private Sector.
KFC's vice president of HR James Watts said he was "honoured and flattered" to receive the Gold award.
"This is a credit to the HR team we have," Watts said. "It's also 100% down to the great managers we have in our stores who bring our proposition to life,"
"We want to change perceptions and tell our story as we are so proud of it. This is a great recognition of our culture."
Watts was shortlisted in the prestigious HR director of the year catergory.
