It’s time to crown 2020’s HRD of the year

HR magazine is calling for nominations for the 2020 HR Excellence Awards HR Director of the Year shortlist

We want to know who deserves to be recognised for their achievements in HR. Who has achieved something great in the past year?

You can nominate an HR director, or yourself, by filling in this short form.

Readers will then decide who has made the most effective contribution to development of HR strategy from a shortlist developed by the HR magazine editorial team, using reader nominations and input from industry experts.

Previous winners include Fiona Deal, executive director of people and technology at Network Homes, Emma Rose, former HR director at Kerry Foods, and Fiona Evans, HR director at the Zoological Society of London.

Speaking to HR magazine about her 2019 win, Deal said: "I'm absolutely delighted, I'm surprised, I'm excited. And I'm completely overwhelmed. It's an emotional moment and I feel extremely proud of everyone on our team.”

Evans, who won the award in 2017, said: “It’s really wonderful to win this award. I didn’t think I’d win it, and I feel really privileged to be able to do this for my career.”

The full shortlist will be revealed in the May issue of HR magazine.

This year is the 25th anniversary of the HR Excellence Awards so expect lots of glitz and glamour at the event in June.
