HR magazine gets new owner
HR magazine and hrmagazine.co.uk have been acquired by fast-growing media company Mark Allen Group from Haymarket Business Media.
Mark Allen, the eponymous founder of the group, which publishes 40 titles in healthcare, education and business-to-business, said: "For some time now I have wanted a publication in human resources and this fits the bill perfectly.
In Sian Harrington the magazine has a hugely accomplished editor who is well known and respected by human resources directors. I am delighted that she has decided to join us and very excited to have acquired the title."
The magazine will be located in the company’s London office and comes under the A&D Media division.
Harrington said: "I am pleased that HR has joined the Mark Allen Group at an exciting time in its development and delighted to continue as editor with a new, dynamic team. I am confident the brand will continue to grow and move into new areas as a flagship brand in the Mark Allen stable."
