HR Excellence awards 2020: The winners

Yesterday (26 January) HR professionals attended the 2020 HR Excellence awards ceremony, virtually for the first time, to celebrate best practice in industry.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s awards inevitably took place online.

However, it still being the awards 25th anniversary, and a rare occasion to celebrate the success of HR professionals around the world, attendees were encouraged to dress up for the event and take part in a live celebration through Twitter and LinkedIn.

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) was one of the lucky few to bag multiple awards at last night’s event, taking home trophies for Best HR Team of the Year and Best People-focused Workplace Design Strategy.

NatWest Group also walked home with two awards through the efforts of its HR team at Royal Bank of Scotland – winning Best Health and Wellbeing Strategy and Best Internal Communications Strategy.
