Hear leading insight at The HR Talks

HR magazine is launching a collaborative event, The HR Talks, designed to deliver inspiring insights from HR directors at award-winning organisations and leading academics.

The event on 7 February will share ideas to enable the creation of high performing organisations through people. It will comprise a mixture of panel sessions, interactive discussion and debates. No Powerpoint presentations are allowed. Each session will end with three essential pieces of advice for you to take away.

All delegates will receive an e-book in advance, containing case studies from all the organisations featured. And discussions will continue post-event through a dedicated social page and exclusive access to extra resources.

Highlights will include a collaborative innovation workshop, led by Dr Benjamin Reid of the Work Foundation's Big Innovation Centre, a debate on creativity between Dr Reid and one of HR magazine's Most Influential Thinkers Adrian Furnham, of University College London, and a session on talent and technology from Catherine Rush, head of talent at the Daily Mail Group Trust's A&N Media.

Other speakers include Valerie Hughes-D'Aeth, group HRD at Amey, David Smith, LV= group HR and comms director; and Janet Burr, HR director at Thames Water.

Subjects covered over the day include talent, learning and development, engagement and employee benefits.

HR Talks will take place on 7 February 2013 at 76 Portland Place, London. For more information and to download the full programme, please go to www.hrmagazine.co.uk/conference
