A survey by a HR consultancy has suggested chronic misunderstanding of standard 'office speak', with 4% of respondents believing flexitime is a type of aerobics.

One in ten believed ‘blue sky thinking’ was working outside, with 13% saying that annual leave meant taking a year off, while

2% thought that a ‘break out area’ was adjacent to a prison, and 14% said that time off in lieu meant time in the bathroom.
