In her new role McIntyre will be responsible for providing an effective HR function to meet the changing needs of the trust. "It provides a unique opportunity to join a highly successful foundation trust at an extremely exciting time," she said, "not least as we strive to bring three NHS trusts and a leading university partner closer together." She leaves her current position as director of human resources at Barts and The London NHS Trust in November. She has 30 years' experience working for the NHS and is the joint chair of the national Joint Consultants Committee as well as being a member of several national cross-government reference groups.
