McCarthy was previously head of HR operations at the national disability charity and was responsible for the introduction of HR advice and guidance services at the organisation as well as the payroll and recruitment functions. Her new role will involve the development of a talent management strategy and a focus on employee engagement. McCarthy also hopes to promote more employee benefits around flexible working at the charity.
