Good ad: Royal Air Force Regiment

The RAF ad is bang on target

Vacancy: Gunners

The Royal Air Force knows its audience and knows how to get it interested. This double page spread of 'editorial' is in a video gaming magazine, slap bang between game reviews of Brothers In Arms and COD:World at War. Need I say more? It hits its targets right between the eyes (no pun intended, well, only slightly) - computer gamers, aged 16 to 25-plus, for whom 'first person shooter' games are their life.

The US army once developed a video game to train their soldiers for all kinds of combat. It was then released as a commercial game and became a chart-topper over there. Such is the power of these styles of games - they're so realistic you're almost there. Which is why joining a regiment could be the only way to get an even more realistic experience.
