She has been at Buckinghamshire County Council since 2005, working up from director of HR and organisational development to executive director (resources) where she was responsible for finance, legal, HR & OD, ICT, customer services, communications, business support, property and business transformation. Since January she has been executive director (Communities, Health and Adult Social Care).
A former president of the Public Sector People Managers' Association (PPMA), Quinton has been recognised for her success in public sector transformation, has been in the HR Most Influential Practitioners list since 2010 and was named one of the top 10 HR Practitioners of the decade in 2015.
