Emma Holden, global head of HR, Schroders

Holden joined Schroders in 2007 as head of corporate communications

In November 2014 she was appointed as global head of human resources. In this role she is responsible for the global HR teams around the firm and is a member of the group management committee, ensuring that the firm's long-term focus and client-centric culture are reflected in its people strategy.

Prior to joining Schroders Holden was IR director for Corus Group where she held various roles in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategy.

Holden qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC in 1998. She holds an MBA from the University of Warwick and a degree in accountancy and management from Cardiff University.

Holden is an advocate of diversity, inclusion and social mobility; being the first person in her family from a former Welsh mining community to go to university. She is married with two young children.
