Stephen Moir leaves Cambridgeshire County Council

Stephen Moir has left his role as corporate director, people, policy and law at Cambridgeshire County Council, after the role was deleted in an organisational restructure.

The move came as part of Cambridgeshire's shared services arrangement with Northamptonshire County Council, a programme Moir led for Cambridgeshire for over two and a half years before its implementation.

He spent the past six months leading change and transition management in the council and working as a national adviser for the Local Government Group.

He said: "After nearly six years with Cambridgeshire, the timing was right to move on and I'm now looking for my next opportunity, preferably in the public sector, but ideally with a broader remit than HR alone."

In the meantime, Moir will continue as a non-executive on the CIPD Board, National Policing Improvement Agency Resources Committee, executive committee member for the Involvement and Participation Association and honorary treasurer for the PPMA.
